Nearly one year after the introduction of its real-time surround/spatial effect processor ORFEUSZ 206, Wroclaw Audio Force (WAF) announces the release of the second software revision v.1.2 comprising new important features:
- Full MIDI control of virtually all application parameters. From now on, system operation may be controlled with a standard MIDI controller, and/or MIDI sensors may be associated to ORFEUSZ 206 in the context of interactive installations, in order to have the processing altered by external events such as visitors movement, luminosity etc.
- MTC (MIDI Time Code) sync capability. This new feature will allow to sync a set of trajectories to an audio recording. Ideal in the context of performances where soundtracks are prepared before hand.
- BOOM processing option, tailor made for trajectories going accross audience. This unique option increases source presence while travelling close to the virtual listener, and can lead to very surprising effects among the audience
The software revision includes many other enhancements—see the updated web page at www.waf.com.pl for details, manuals and software download.
Since the release of the first version v.1.0, ORFEUSZ 206 has also gained a trajectory editor, allowing the recording and editing of arbitrary trajectories, as well as a playlist manager for organizing and playing back a set of prerecorded trajectories in an ordered sequence.
