Yamaha Introduces MS1000 And MS5000 Music Stands

Yamaha debuts the MS1000 and MS5000 Music Stands, which are lightweight, yet durable, and provide high quality at a low price. Constructed of super-sturdy round tubing, the stands also feature a permanently attached swivel joint that connects the stand to the base.
Both models are offered by Yamaha's Pro Audio & Combo Division; the MS1000 is also available from the company's Band & Orchestral Division.
The MS1000 is made of black aluminum tubing and comes equipped with extended arms and page stoppers. The one-piece construction folds down to a compact design for easy transport, and eliminates the problem of lost pieces. A travel bag is also included.
The MS5000 is geared toward gigging musicians who need a quality stand that is sturdy enough to hold heavy music books, compact enough to fit in a car trunk and light enough to be transported easily.
The MS1000 (MSRP: $13.99) and the MS5000 (MSRP: $59.99) are scheduled to ship in February 2007.
