AlumiSonic to Premier Ultra-1100 SuperChrome Aluminum Arch Top
July 7, 2008
AlumiSonic Aluminum Guitars will publicly premier the Ultra-1100 SuperChrome on July 12-13, 2008 at the Great American Guitar Show in King of Prussia, PA. The Ultra-1100 aluminum top is cold forged and tempered to precisely replicate the varying curves and surface contours of a classic archtop instrument. Incredibly, the resonance produced by the shape of this archtop can create infinite sustain under slightly overdriven conditions. The Ultra-1100 also has a 4.5 degree pitched neck that follows the angle of the archtop contour. Ultra-1100 necks are set with AlumiSonic's new patented Set Neck Mounting System. This system secures the neck internally with no exterior neck plate or screws on the back of the guitar. All AlumiSonic Guitars have no exterior rivets or unusual screws, and are seamlessly hand crafted. AlumiSonic Guitars typically weigh from only 6.5 to 8.5 lbs.
The Ultra 1100 SuperChrome retails for $2720.00.
