Heavy Electronics Introduces the Grind Fuzz Effects Pedal

February 7, 2008

(Click for a close-up)

Finally, a fuzz that maintains note definition. This discrete fuzz hybrid by Heavy Electronics creates a lovely result that boasts plenty of fuzz and sustain but allows tighter definition of chords and arpeggios. Its clarity allows the Grind Fuzz to approach so many applications where fuzz never made sense before.

The Grind Fuzz is complexity in disguise. Two simple knobs (level and gain) make finding the right fuzz quick and concise. Stunning amounts of headroom beneath the level knob. A vast array of gain settings that allow the guitarist to flow between thundering drive and subtle sweet nuances. An internal trimpot allows the user to adjust LED brightness. The Voltage Starve circuit, found within all of the Heavy Electronics Series One pedals, regulates the voltage all the way down to .1 Volts.

With respect to the Grind Fuzz the Voltage Starve Circuit (adjusted internally) promotes a longer and more inconsistent attack and decay. High gain settings become gated whereas low gain settings encourages notes that slowly decay and waver out. Stop blanketing your tone with Fuzz that muffles the notes you play.

MSRP price $149.00
