Mapex Introduces Zebra Wood PRO M Component Pack

Mapex announced the release of its special edition "Zebra Wood" Pro M component pack. The drum shell, like all Mapex Pro M series drums is all maple, however this set features a simulated zebra-like striped maple veneer.
The component pack (PM628SZU) is available in a six-piece configuration that includes a 22x18 bass drum, 10x8 and 12x9 tom toms, 14x14 and 16x16 floor toms and a 14x5.5 snare drum. The pack also include a TH675 tom holder for the bass drum mounted toms.
"The zebra-like exterior veneer is a hand made maple veneer, "explains Artist Relations and Product Development Manager Joe Hibbs. "With the blue transparent lacquer over the figured grain, it makes for a very eye-catching drum set."
The Mapex Special Edition Zebra Wood component pack (in Blue Zebra finish) is available in limited quantities and is not available as part of Mapex's MY PRO M Custom Kit Building program. MSRP is $1,959.99. For more information, visit their web site at www.mapexdrums.com.
