Hughes & Kettner Announces Montana Acoustic Amplifier

March 3, 1999 -- Hughes & Kettner announced a new acoustic guitar amplifier at the International MusikMesse in Frankfurt, Germany. The "Montana" is the first amp from Hughes & Kettner designed especially for acoustic musicians playing in pubs or "Unplugged" sessions, choir accompanists, and anyone who needs amplification for acoustic guitar and vocals.

The amp offers everything the acoustic guitarist/entertainer needs to make himself heard: a natural, warm, open sound, sixty watts of power, a guitar channel with 3-band EQ (including parametric mids) and Contour control, a microphone channel with separate volume control, an integral limiter, two FX loops, reverb, a balanced Line Out for connecting to the house PA if available, a headphone jack for warming up backstage, and a 12" speaker and tweeter, all in a compact housing which is quite easy to transport. And the price? Hughes & Kettner has always been good for a surprise in this area…

Availability: Spring, 1999.
MSRP: To be announced.
