FATAR MP-113 and MP-117 Pedal Controllers

July 16, 1997 -- StudioLogic Masterkeyboards, manufactured by FATAR and exclusively distributed in the United States by Music Industries Corp., is proud to introduce two new MIDI pedal controllers. The MP-113, 13-note pedal controller, is a redesigned version of FATAR's very successful MP-1, 13-note pedal controller. The MP-117, 17-note pedal controller, is a brand new edition to the StudioLogic line of MIDI pedal controllers.

The MP-113 and MP-117, alone, do not generate any sounds. The MP-113 and MP-1 17 are designed to trigger or control the sounds from one or more MIDI sound modules or a MIDI keyboard. While a musician plays their primary instrument, be it a guitar or keyboard, he (or she) can "kick pedals" on the MP-113 or musician with their feet, triggering additional bass lines, chords, sequencers or musical passages. For the very creative, StudioLogic pedal controllers allow the user to trigger MIDI percussion, pre-programmed samplers, even MIDI lighting or "show controller" units.

The StudioLogic pedal controllers program change, bank select, transpose and channel assignment foot control buttons on the top panel. Users can pre-arrange the sounds in their sound module's, or keyboard's, memory according to a song set list, and with the press of a channel select or program change button, sounds, sequences, etc., can be called-up as needed.

Both the MP-113, suggested list $450.00, and MP-117, suggested list $575.00, feature wood finished pedal keys on a dynamic pedal board. Both units feature one MIDI output and a 9V DC Input. An external power adapter is included. The MP-113's dimension are, cm 61 x 42 x 15 (24" wide X 16" deep X 6" high) and the MP-117 is cm 74 x 42 x 15 (29" wide X 16" deep X 6" high). The weight of the MP-113 is 6.5 kg (14 lb.) and the MP-117 is 7.5 kg (16.5 lb.).

The MP-113 and MP-117 are available at better music stores everywhere.
