StudioLogic SL-760 76-Note Controller
July 16, 1997 -- StudioLogic Masterkeyboards, manufactured by FATAR and exclusively distributed in the United States by Music Industries Corp., is proud to introduce the new, low-cost SL-760 MIDI master keyboard controller. The SL-760, 76-note controller, with semi-weighted piano-style action, is designed for the home computer musician or the performing musician seeking a low-cost alternative to more expensive mater controllers. The SL-760, $799.95 suggested list, features a 76-note, semi-weighted piano action, velocity sensitive keyboard with aftertouch and one pitch-bend and one modulation wheel. The SL-760's top panel features the following buttons: 3 buttons for the enabling and disabling of the three keyboard zones, an Enter/Edit button, 2 scroll buttons (Up/Down) for editing parameters, a 10 LED read-out indicates the active parameter, and 3 LED's indicates which zone button is active (On-Off). Three zones are available for splits and programmable layers. A numerical keypad corresponds to the keys of the central octave. The SL-760's rear panel features 2 parallel MIDI outputs, sustain input jack, volume input jack, DC input jack, power switch and a power-status LED. The SL-760 will also remember the last used zone parameters. When the SL-760 is switched on, the last used program and selection(s) are enabled. Dimension of the SL-760 are, cm 116 wide X 35 deep X 13 high (45.5" wide X 13.75" deep X 5" high) and it weighs only 13 kg. (28.6 lb.). The SL-760 is available at better music stores everywhere.
