New '99 BSR "B" Model Basses from Ken SmithAvailable in 4, 5 & 6 String August 8, 1999 -- Ken Smith Basses, LTD proudly introduces the new BSR "B" model. This Bass has been created to bring to the musician a more affordable Smith Bass with the BSR shape. The BSR "B" replaces the "Burner" series Basses. Hardware and Electronics remain the same. The Standard and Deluxe models have a 3-pc Laminated Hard Rock Maple Neck. The Custom Models have a 5-pc Laminated Hard Rock Maple/Walnut Neck. What distinguishes the BSR "B" from the Burner Model is the steamlined BSR Body and Headstock shape. This Body and Headstock have become extremely popular with our "J" Models as well as our other USA Handmade Bolt-on and Neck-Thru Basses. The BSR "B" is available in 4, 5, & 6 String Models with a Polyester Finish:
These Basses are a culmination of 9 years of great sales of our "Burner" series Basses, new Body shape that doubled Ken Smith's orders, and that Classic "Smith" Sound. The new BSR "B" Basses are in production now. 1999 BSR "B" Models
*Highly Figured Maple Body (when available) on Custom Model, add $200. Note: All Walnut and Maple Body wood sets are hand picked and cut by Ken Smith.
