July 23, 1999 -- The first run of Line 6's long-awaited Spider Digital Guitar Amplifier System has rolled off the company's Woodland Hills, CA production facility The Spider Series brings the same patented digital modeling technology that Artists, Producers, and Engineers have come to rely on at breakthrough prices. The Spider is uniquely packaged and designed and comes with 6 unique Amp Models and Smart Control Effects. The Spider 112 will retail at $599.99 and the stereo 210 at $699.99.
