Pintech Releases HH-10 Hyper Hat and CK-V ConcertKik at NAMM

HH-10 Hyper Hat

August 7, 1999 -- The Pintech HH-10 Hyper Hat professional high hat pedal is designed to have the look, feel and durability of conventional acoustic high hat pedals.

The HH-10 is the first reasonably priced electronic high hat controller designed to interface with all popular modules that occupy a foot switch input which has a high hat function for the foot switch. This will commonly support switch type features such as Open, Closing, Closed, Foot Click and Heel Splash sounds. The heavy duty switch sensor provides even response as well as maximum reliability for the drummer.

The HH-10 Hyper Hat is based on a legless hi-hat design, that can be adjusted for both hi-hat foot travel and spring tension with the use of a conventional high hat clutch design. This allows more comfort for the drummer and less foot and leg fatigue. A stabilizing foot plate with chrome adjustable floor spike anchors and aggressive aircraft grade carpet lock fasteners hold the Hyper Hat firmly to the drummer's carpet. Proprietary die cut rubber guards are attached to the bottom of the stabilizing foot plate for extra stability on non-carpeted stages and studio playing areas.

HH-10 Hyper Hat Features Include:

  • Conventional High Hat design and feel.
  • Adjustable pedal board travel and tension.
  • Carpet Lock fasteners and adjustable floor spike anchors for extra stability.
  • Compatible with most popular drum trigger modules.
  • Hand-Crafted in the U.S.A.
