Pintech Releases Studio Elite Series Kits and Pads

August 7, 1999 -- Pintech released its all new Studio Elite kits at 1999 Summer NAMM Convention. The entire Studio Elite series is designed to function for gigs, practicing, studio sessions, and touring. The SE-1 kit offers drummers a fundamental and fully expandable system featuring all single zone SE-101 pads. Pintech's SE-2 and SE-3 kits offer the addition of true dual zone drum pads that trigger separate center and rim sounds and have cymbal choke capabilities when interfaced with supporting modules. All Pintech Studio Elite kits feature lightning-fast triggering, responsive feel, easy setup and expandability at a realistic price with an exclusive lifetime warranty. Module, throne and kick pedals for all Pintech kits are sold separately.

Studio Elite SE-102 Pad Features Include:

Pintech Studio Elite SE-102 pads are a good upgrade to earlier rubber pad kits. These 10.5" pads feature a thick high rebound rubber playing surfaces with an inviting feel and low stick noise. SE Series pads are extremely sensitive and have lightning-fast triggering response at all dynamic levels. The SE-102 dual trigger pad uses both switching technology and true trigger technology with a dual zone playing surface that is comprised of both rim and center playing zones. This allows two independent sounds to be played on one pad. The rim is used as the second sound activation source and mute switch for choking either cymbal sounds. Unlike other dual zone pads, the independent rim hits do not trigger center sound for true independent control. SE-102 dual zone pads are 100% compatible with all popular modules with rim switch supporting capabilities.
