ART Introduces the HPFX Monitor SystemFebruary 17, 2000 -- Applied Research & Technology introduces its newest offering to the recording industry - the HPXF Headphone Monitor System. Among its features is the ability to eliminate latency problems that occur when recording directly onto hard drive. This function will make PC recording more user-friendly to both the novice and the expert. The HPFX's monitor circuitry has 4 banks of effects with adjustable parameters for vocalists to adjust their own vocal effects while recording. As part of the monitor system, these effects are not recorded to track but can be heard and adjusted in the headphones only. This function gives the vocalist control of their ambience to put out a better performance that can later be mixed with effects from any of ART's effect processors. Additional HPFX features include 2 mic/instrument inputs and outputs, an internal preamp for each input, four independent headphone outputs, four effects banks with adjustable parameters, and is powered with a 9Volt, 800milliamp power supply.
