BitHeadz Announces Retro AS-1 VST
March 10, 2000 -- BitHeadz Inc. has announced Retro AS-1 VST. Retro AS-1 VST has up to 64 note polyphony and supports 16 MIDI channels for multitimbral use. For accessing more than 16 MIDI channels, Retro VST has the ability to activate up to eight separate instances of itself. Retro's three oscillators, two filters, virtually unlimited modulation options, and 2 insert effects provide true studio quality sound. Retro AS-1 VST comes complete with 1,400 factory sounds that include banks of Basses, Leads, Pads, FX, Drums, Classic Keys, and more. Each Retro AS-1 VST has the ability to store multitimbral setups for individual MIDI channels in Cubase's 'Save Effect' function. All Retro VST patch data can also be saved within song files, so there's no longer the need to transport patches separately. Support for existing Retro AS-1 format sounds allows the user to load, edit, and save patches with Retro AS-1 VST that are fully compatible with Retro AS-1 for Mac and PC. "The convenience of using Retro AS-1 VST within Cubase is a key feature." Says Director of Sales, Earl Sondreal. "Full automation within Cubase and the easy to use interface of Retro AS-1 VST now gives the musician more creative power in a smaller package than ever before."
