Emagic Announces SoundDiver 3.0
February 10, 2000 -- Emagic announces Version 3.0 of SoundDiver, the Universal Editor Librarian for both Mac and Windows. With its unsurpassed list of supported devices, the newly-designed user interface, and its seamless integration with Logic Audio, SoundDiver 3.0 is simply the most advanced Editor Librarian for both the Mac and Windows world. A complete redesign of SoundDiver's graphic user interface is the most visible improvement in Version 3.0. In addition, Version 3.0 includes a new user definable Key Command List. Almost every SoundDiver function can be given a user defined key command and/or remote MIDI command, enormously enhancing speed and work flow. The most exciting addition to Version 3.0 will be the implementation of external remote control by any MIDI device, such as the JL Cooper Fader Master Professional, the Peavey PC1600X or CM Automation's MotorMix. Any parameter in any editor can now be controlled by any incoming MIDI message. Flexible 'assign modes' willensure perfect communication with any external MIDI controller. When using applicable faderboxes, for example, CM Automation's MotorMix, parameter changes in SoundDiver Version 3.0 are even reflected by the hardware's motorfaders, illuminated buttons and displays. Autolink will also be improved in Version 3.0 to ensure rock solid interaction between SoundDiver and Logic Audio.Availability SoundDiver 3.0 is scheduled for release in April 2000. Update pricing for registered users is US$ 49.00. For more information, visit Emagic at www.emagic.de.
