Samson's New AirLine Series UHF Wireless Employs Miniaturized Technology
February 17, 2000 -- Benefitting from new miniaturized technology, AirLine UHF Transmitters feature miniaturized circuitry and operate on a tiny triple-A battery with 14-hour battery life, along with significantly improved wireless reception and sound quality. And UHF means the wireless system is operating on a much clearer frequency band with greatly reduced interference. Available systems include the AH1/QE UHFWireless Fitness System which features a tiny, featherweight transmitter mounted onto a comfortable and unobtrusive headset, eliminating cumbersome body packs that interfere with fitness systems. The AH1 headset transmitter features a comprehensive control scheme and comes equipped with Samsons popular QE microphone which is ideal for vocal reproduction. The AR1 Micro Receiver is small, lightweight and comes equipped with a full complement of controls. These include and Output (Volume) Level control. Power On/Off switch; Signal and Audio Status LEDs and a Squelch control to eliminate noise. The receive also has balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" outputs. The AL1 UHF Wireless Presentation System is ideal for public speakers, broadcast use and houses of worship is the first lavalier system to feature an all-in-one miniaturized presentation transmitter with a built-in electret condenser microphone for the ultimate all-in-one package! Like al AirLine transmitters, it comes with a full complement of controls. Users can take advantage of the built-in unidirectional electret condenser mic or plug their favorite lavalier mic into the AL1s mini input jack. Phantom power is provided for condenser microphones. The AL1 can be mounted on a lapel, pocket or belt or looped around the neck with a supplied lanyard. Any dynamic microphone can become wireless in an instant simply by plugging in the compact AX1 UHF Wireless Microphone System transmitter. And, because the AX1 is smaller than an XLR connector, users wont even notice its there. Consisting of a tiny, featherweight transmitter mounted right on to the headset and Samsons full-range QV microphone, the AH1/QV UHF Wireless Performance System allows vocalists to roam the stage without anything to slow them down. The AF1/AG1 UHF Wireless Guitar System eliminates body packs by allowing guitarists to plug the transmitter right into a guitar. The systems receiver is also designed to easily integrate into anyones effect pedal setup. The revolutionary AirLine "plug-in" guitar transmitters come in two versions: the AF1 for Strat®-style inputs and the AG1 for traditional Gibson®style end-mount inputs and all others.
