Sonorus To Support Cakewalk's AudioX

February 3, 2000 -- Sonorus, Inc. announces support for Cakewalk’s AudioX protocol for their award-winning STUDI/O sound card. Both Sonorus and Cakewalk will be demonstrating Sonorus’ STUDI/O supporting AudioX at NAMM 2000. The AudioX STUDI/O driver will allow the Cakewalk user to control STUDI/O’s mixer and wordclock settings from within the Cakewalk environment. This will enable the Cakewalk user to automate and save all STUDI/O settings within their Cakewalk project making it a snap to recall any settings at a later time.

"AudioX provides the missing link in today’s driver models, giving users control of the advanced features available on STUDI/O from within the applications they’re already using," stated Sonorus co-founder and president, Mark Clayton. "And being an open, cross-platform standard will assure its widespread acceptance."

If you are attending the NAMM show please stop by either the Sonorus booth (West Hall #1619) or Cakewalk’s (West Hall #1205) and get a first hand look at this exciting new technology!

All STUDI/O owners may download a free driver upgrade that includes AudioX support later this month. Sonorus Demonstrates AudioX Support for STUDI/O}
