ADA 4x4 Plug-and-Play MIDI Control Pedal

January 18, 1996 -- ADA Amplification Systems now offers the world's easiest to use MIDI control pedal, the ADA 4x4. The 4x4 features a low-cost "plug and play" design which allows access to all 128 MIDI programs directly and works with all MIDI gear, such as MIDI preamps and signal processors. What sets the 4x4 apart from all other MIDI controllers is its single button access to any MIDI program without Bank Switching. Using the 4x4 is as easy as it gets - so easy that there is no user manual needed. Hold down any button and wait for the display to scroll. When the desired program number appears, release the button. Now each time the button is pressed, the selected program number is sent. The program numbers (16 of a possible 128) are automatically stored in the permanent memory, and will not be lost when power is turned off. The 4x4 weighs 1.22 pounds, is housed in a heavy-duty all steel chassis, and includes a 5-pin 20-foot MIDI cable and AC adapter. Options include a 7-pin MIDI cable for phantom powering. The 4x4 is manufactured in the USA and has a one year factory warranty.
