January 16, 1997 -- InVision and Gallery Introduce TurboMorph(TM) 1.5:

  • High Quality Batch Audio Converter
  • 500 Percent Faster Than Competition
  • Performs Wide Array of Audio Processing Functions
  • Supports Popular DSP Plug-ins

InVision Interactive, Inc. of Palo Alto, Calif., and Gallery Software, of London, England, announced today the immediate availability of TurboMorph(TM) Version 1.5. TurboMorph is a high quality audio batch processing software tool that performs a number of useful file processing functions used daily by audio production professionals. Under the exclusive global marketing agreement between InVision and Gallery Software, InVision is distributing TurboMorph worldwide with the exception of Europe. Gallery Software will sell the product in Europe and provide worldwide technical support.

TurboMorph is a versatile audio processor. It supports normalize, sample rate conversion, bit-depth and channel changes, audio plug-ins and even file format conversion and compression. The user can select an audio file in Sound Designer II, AIFF, WAV and AIFC (IMA/uLaw/MACE) file formats and choose the desired functions. An "Audition" button lets the user immediately hear the results so that the finished product can be processed quickly. TurboMorph is 500 percent faster than other audio batch processors.

"We felt it was key that TurboMorph support popular DSP (Digital Signal Processing) plug-ins such as the L1 from WAVES," points out Gallery Software founder and chief developer Mark Gilbert. "Serious audio production engineers and sound designers want the fastest operation possible, because they are overwhelmed with the number of audio files requiring processing for film, video and multimedia audio work. That's where TurboMorph comes in, it provides all of he functions typically required for manipulating audio files - with lighting speed."

"TurboMorph is typical of the high quality audio tools from Gallery Software," says Denny Mayer, Vice President of Sales at InVision. "Gallery has earned a stellar reputation among audio professionals for powerful, flexible and easy-to-use software tools that make the development of audio tracks for film, video and multimedia easier."

TurboMorph 1.5 is priced at $349.00 and is available immediately. Upgrades from TurboMorph 1.0 are free.
