Ludwig Offers New Omni Marching Drum Carriers

January 29, 1998 -- Ludwig Industries has updated their line of marching drum carriers with the New Omni-T Carriers. These carriers are made of light weight aluminum, but built to be strong. Competitively priced, the model numbers, descriptions, and USA suggested retail prices are as follows: L4740 - Omni-T Snare Drum Carrier - $225. L4741 - Omni-T Bass Drum Carrier - $200. L4744 - Omni-T Quad/Quint Carrier - $310.

Ludwig Marketing Manager, Jim Catalano stated that, "Our new carriers for marching drums add comfort for drummers of many shapes and sizes. We will continue to market our popular fiberglass vest carrier system too."

Carrier frames are finished in a black. The Lift front mechanism on the snare and mulit-tom carriers feature Ludwig's J-Arm hook up system, that is the same style as Ludwig's Vest Carrier System. The system is completely adjustable and has thick dense foam lined shoulder and stomach pads for comfort.

The Omni-Rail for Multi-Toms Carriers offer easy positioning, flexible and adjustable J-Arms with swivel bracket attachments. All drums drilled in the same location on the back and drums are can be re-arranged. Start with a Quad, and add a 6" diameter drum later to make a Quint. Drums are securely attached to the Omni-Rail. Bass Drum Carriers feature an inverted J bumper system with hooks and straps, supporting the drum from the top of the carrier.

Ludwig/Musser Industries is a division of The Selmer Company Inc., and Steinway Musical Products, a leading manufacturer of Band, Orchestra, Percussion Instruments and Accessories, and Grand Pianos.
