Meinl Introduces Flat Ride Cymbals

January 29, 1998 -- Meinl has recently developed some new One of a kind models within their exclusive Custom Cymbal Shop program. The new Flat Ride Cymbals are available on a very limited basis in three different sizes - 18", 20", 22" and in various One of a kind finishes.

These flat ride cymbals are unique to Meinl in that each instrument may have as many as three distinct pitches. These pitches are controlled by the manner of playing tile cymbal and can produce soft, round tones as well as oriental type overtones. The Flat Rides complete the current Custom Shop offerings and are a welcome addition to any drummer or percussionist's library of sounds.

Suggested retail prices : 18" $423; 20" $478; 22" $561 (all prices in US $).
