January 29, 1998 -- Last year, Paiste America improved the sound quality, function and visual appeal of the 502, 402 and 302 lines, and added the 802 line, which set the new standard in the value cymbal class. This year, Paiste adds an 18" Thin Crash, 14" Crash, and 20" Heavy Ride to the popular 802 line, and a 12" Splash, 16" China, 14" Crash and 16" Power Crash to the 502 line.
