Remo Adds Clear Tom-Tom and Renaissance Models to Powerstroke 3(TM) Series

January 29, 1998 -- Remo, Inc. has announced the expansion of the drumhead specialist's popular PowerStroke 3(tm) Series to include Renaissance Snare Drum and Bass Drum heads as well as a selection of Clear Tom-Tom heads. PowerStroke 3 drumheads combine Remo drumhead films with a thin underlay at the head's outer edge to reduce over-ring and focus its sound.

Renaissance PowerStroke 3 heads are available in 13 and 14-inch Ambassador snare drum and 18 to 24-inch Ambassador and Emperor bass drum sizes. They feature Remo's exclusive Renaissance process which is used to create a textured playing surface with a fuller balance of brightness and warmth.

New 8 to 18-inch PowerStroke 3 Clear heads have been developed to increase the focus and clarity of Remo's Clear Ambassador Tom-Tom heads while maintaining their characteristic brightness and response.

These new PowerStroke 3 heads expand Remo's available Coated, Clear, Ebony and FiberSkyn3 PowerStroke 3 snare and bass drum models- adding new varieties of performance-quality drumheads to meet the expanding demands of the world's top drummers.
