Cubase VST for Windows Integrates with Lexicon Studio System

January 29, 1998 -- Steinberg GmbH, the market leader of music software companies on both the Macintosh and Windows platforms, today announced the integration of Cubase VST for Windows Hard Disc Recording software with the Lexicon Studio System. The Steinberg ASIO ( Audio Stream Input Output ) System provides complete support of LexiPowerCore technology for 32 tracks of audio of 24-bit audio resolution. Steinberg and Lexicon Developers worked closely together to create the most powerful connection between Cubase VST's advanced signal routing and intuitive interface with Lexicon's powerful DSP hardware capabilities. Cubase VST for Windows directly supports the PC 90 daughter board for the Lexicon Core 32 card. PC 90 is a complete PCM 90 effects unit which is adjusted and routed via a PlugIn from within the Cubase VST environment.
