New Compact Combos Offer Technological Edge

January 28, 1999 -- Acoustic Image has entered the MI market with a full range of innovative products for musical instrument and voice amplification. The company, which has enjoyed exceptional "underground" success selling directly to musicians, demonstrated uniquely designed, ultra-compact amplification systems for bass, keyboards, and acoustic guitar at the Los Angeles NAMM show, with initial shipments to dealers scheduled for February, 1999.

Acoustic Image products are designed and manufactured in the USA. They incorporate proprietary technology in several areas, including downfiring bass transducers, uniquely shaped lightweight enclosures, and leading edge "digital" amplification to achieve stunningly accurate, high-SPL sound reproduction from an exceptionally portable package.

The company's initial offering, a 300-watt bass and keyboard combo amplifier, achieves superior acoustic performance - extended, tight, well-controlled natural bass sound with omnidirectional output below 800 Hz so the player is heard without additional monitors across the entire bandstand - from a one-foot tall package weighing less-than 25 pounds. Suggested retail price is $699.00, with a companion speaker cabinet available for a suggested retail price of $349.00.
