Azden Announces New Wireless Microphone Receivers

January 11, 1999 -- Azden Corporation announces two new wireless microphone receivers designed specially for rack installations. Both the 411DRH UHF receiver and the 311DRH VHF receiver are manufactured in metal halfrack cases and are designed to either stand alone or, with optional rack adaptors, mount in a standard full 19-1/2" rack.

Similar in function to the 411UDR, the new true diversity 411DRH adds several asked for features such as- front panel ON/OFF switch, front panel Volume adjust and a front panel RF and Audio Level display. Additionally on the front panel are the Group and Channel adjustment switches for choosing one of the 63 user-selectable UHF channels. The rear panel features twin removable antennas, both a balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" output connector, the 12V DC power connector and a newly added Squelch adjustment. The 411DRH, available in April, will have an MSRP of under $500 and will come complete with the BC-26U 12V DC adaptor.

While the new true diversity 311DRH VHF receiver is similar in function to the 311DR, it too adds an ON/OFF switch, Output Level control and RF/Audio Level displays to the front panel. Rear mounted and detachable antennas, balanced and unbalanced output connectors, the 12V DC input connector and the new added Squelch control round out the feature set. Available in March, the 311DRH will retail for $300.00 and will also come with the BC-26U 12V DC adaptor.

In order to mount either a single 311DRH or 411DRH in a standard rack add the optional HR-1 rack adaptor kit. To mount 2 of the new receivers in a full rack, add the optional HR-2 dual-unit adaptor kit.
