BIAS Introduces "Bias Studio"

A Complete Solution for Professional Audio Production in One Box

Deck 2.6 Track Window

January 28, 1999 -- Berkley Integrated Audio Software, Inc. (BIAS) - a leading manufacturer of professional digital audio editing and processing software - is pleased to announce BIAS Studio, a total software solution for audio production. BIAS Studio is a power bundle of BIAS' award-winning products Deck 2.6, Peak 2.0 and SFX Machine 1.2. Deck offers multitrack recording, editing, and mixing; Peak offers dedicated stereo editing, mastering, streaming audio encoding for the Web, and audio CD recording; and SFX Machine is a creative signal processing tool that offers a multitude of unique effects. The bundle is aimed at customers seeking a complete software audio production solution in one box.

"Deck, Peak and SFX Machine are very complimentary products," said Steve Berkley, President and CEO of BIAS. "Together, they offer tools for every part of the audio production process - from recording, editing, processing, mastering and delivering high-quality digital audio projects. It seems very natural to offer them together in one bundle at a special price."

Pricing and Availability
The BIAS Studio bundle will be available in the first half of 1999 (ship date to be determined) through the network of authorized BIAS dealers and distributors. Sold separately, the combined MSRP of the three products would total over $1200. BIAS is offering the Studio bundle at an MSRP of $999.
