New Deakon Roads Guitar Model

January 28, 1999 -- Deakon Roads guitars are new for 1999. They were designed specifically for the mid-price market for both serious amateurs and professional players who want high performance and quality at an affordable price. These instruments have features normally found only on guitars selling for hundreds of dollars more. Deakon Roads guitars are completely made in Canada.

This guitar was designed for Deakon Roads, by Glenn McDougall, design engineer at Fury Guitar Manufacturing Ltd. Since 1962, Glenn has been designing guitars and is Canada's first electric guitar manufacturer.

Neck width: 1 11/16" at nut, 2 1/8" at 22nd fret
Neck material: Eastern Rock Maple
Machine heads: Grover mini roto-matic
Body material: Soft Maple
Body thickness: 1 1/2", comfort carved top and waist
Hardware: Brass, chrome plated
Pickups: 3 high output single coils / highly shielded
Controls: Volume, tone, five way lever switch
Circuit: Fully shielded
Colors: Red, white, blue, black and green
