Logic Audio Gold and Platinum Version 3.7 for Mac

January 28, 1999 -- Emagic, the award winning European based software and hardware developer, is proud to announce the release of version Logic Audio 3.7 for the Mac. This timely release further exemplifies Emagic's commitment in supporting emerging digital audio solutions.

Logic Audio 3.7
This new Mac version of Logic Audio Gold and Platinum includes extended support for the Yamaha DSP Factory. ASIO drivers are utilized for streaming of audio data while Logic Audio communicates directly to the DSP Factory for all its impressive mixing an DSP features. In addition, 3.7 adds support for Bitheadz DS-1 Software Samplers. Logic Audio 3.7 also offers increased audio streaming performance and improved fader response when used in conjunction with Emagic's Audiowerk- or Mac AV. All audio level meters have been improved to provide extremely accurate readings. Other enhancements to version 3.7 are too numerous to mention in this press release.

Currently a version of 3.7 is not planned for Windows. Instead, Windows users can expect some exciting news to be released at the Frankfurt Musikmesse in March 1999.

Availability and Pricing
Logic Audio 3.7 for Mac is free of charge for registered owners of version 3.5. and 3.6. The updaters for Logic Audio Gold and Platinum are available for download from the new Emagic website.
