Q Up Arts Debuts New World Class Libraries For NemeSys(tm) Gigasampler(R)Award winning Q Up Arts libraries enhanced to leverage award winning NemeSys sampling system. January 28, 1999 -- Q Up Arts today will demonstrate five new sample libraries specifically designed for the NemeSys GigaSampler system. Designed to maximize the large sample capacity, high polyphony and pristine 32 bit signal processing capability of the NemeSys system, these libraries provide a level of interactivity and musicality not found in other libraries. The new libraries include the Latin Groove Factory, Voices of Native America, Street Beats by Poogie Bell, Dream Experience and the amazing Heavy Guitar Library. Each of the GigaSampler formatted libraries can be loaded in their entirety and be "live" for the ultimate experience in compositional interactivity. "It's very inspiring to instantly play and hear any groove against any other on the entire CD," points out Douglas Morton, President of Q Up Arts. "Q Up Arts is excited about the release of it's titles for GigaSampler. The user benefits greatly from the way the GigaSampler's architecture takes advantage of the design of Q Up Arts libraries." Collections such as Latin Groove Factory literally offer thousands of new rhythmic possibilities by breaking down rhythms into separate controllable elements. This modular approach taken by Q Up offers users lots of flexibility for the infinite combinations available. "GigaSampler certainly provides a great vehicle to experiment with these infinite combinations," Morton said. The new libraries also bring a higher level of compositional creativity to musicians by taking advantage of the new high polyphony and processing capabilities of the NemeSys technology, including the new NCS4 series with its unprecedented 512 voice, 40-gigabyte capacity in a single 5U rack space, now on exhibit in booth W1515. "These new Q Up Arts libraries make this colossal system extremely fun to work with", said James Van Buskirk, President and cofounder of NemeSys Music Technology, Incorporated. "They truly define the state of the art in sampling, and hence they allow the NemeSys based platforms to really shine." Having the largest sampling capacity of any commercially available sampler, the GigaSampler now has many sound quality and time saving advantages that add production value and creativity to music and sound effect productions from industry leading composers. "GigaSampler is a REAL innovation compared to everything else out there. I would not have made my latest deadline if it weren't for this tool," said Scott Gilman, L.A. based composer for prime time television series '7 Days' on UPN (Paramount Television). "Now with the multi-outputs and features in the new version (v1.5) GigaSampler is truly unmatched." For more information, visit NemeSys Music Technology at http://www.nemesysmusic.com.
