PSG Introduces Stackable Blue Box
January 28, 1999 -- Program Solutions Group has announced a new, modular unit for burning CDs - the Stackable Blue Box. Each box can be used as individual recordable CD-R drives or you can daisychain them together to burn multiple CD's. Every box contains its own audio in and out for easy connection, an individual power supply, and 2 SCSI connectors. There's no software, no computer to deal with. You don't have to be computer literate. The operating system is already built in. They are totally portable. The CD writers have a reader inside which allows you to record audio direct and do track editing at the push of a button. You can even lend one to a friend or to multiple friends and at the end of the day, they can be daisychained to form a powerful CD duplication unit. When the recorders are stacked together, the top unit acts as a reader so you can record to the other units on the fly. One contains the disk and the others are the writers.
