January 28, 1999 -- Steinberg, a worldwide music software leader, today announced the release of Prosoniq's sonicWORX v2.0, audio editing software for MacOS.

sonicWORX 2.0 new features include:

Native Processing of Wave, SDII, AIFF and raw PCM files of any sample rate between 8kHz and 96kHz, 8 bit to 32bit integer
Import and Export of PARIS PAF, System 7 and split stereo files
Open file' dialog with preview from disk capability (independent from system extensions and Apple QuickTime)
6 different Dithering/Noise Shaping/Requantization options for wordlength conversion.
Multi-file processing: play files while they are processing, or process multiple files at the same time - no more waiting times
Completely modular realtime page with input level control, wet/dry balance CPU load and clip display for each module
Drag & drop support for parameter sets of realtime modules, include load, store and copy.
