Samson TM500 and TM300 Stereo Powered Mixers Feature Built-In DSP
January 28, 1999 -- Designed for small club venues, lounge acts and other sound reinforcement applications, the versatile new TM500 and TM300 stereo powered mixers from Samson are loaded with features in a compact table top design. The 12 channel TM500 delivers 250 watts a side into 4 ohms and features a fan-cooled, bipolar design for greater stability and long life. A built in DSP section provides 16 different effects including reverb, delay, gate, flanging and more with 16 variations of each for a total of 256. 3-band EQ for the eight mic/mono line channels and 2-band EQ for the two stereo channels are complemented by a dual 7-band graphic EQ that can be used in stereo or split between house and monitor, for more flexibility. The TM300's comprehensive 6-channel mixer section includes 3-band EQ on each channel and 2 Aux sends, while the stereo power amp produces 150 watts a side into 4 ohms. It also features a fan-cooled, bipolar design, a built in DSP section providing 3 different preset effects and a dual 7-band graphic EQ for expanded tone shaping.
