Wave Mechanics UltraTools Plug-In Bundle for Pro Tools TDM

January 28, 1999 -- WAVE MECHANICS, INC., a TDM plug-in specialist, has announced the introduction of the UltraTools plug-in bundle for Digidesign's Pro Tools TDM systems.

UltraTools packages three of the most powerful and DSP-intensive plug-ins available for TDM into one cost-effective bundle. The package includes PurePitch, the original formant-preserving pitch effects processor, PitchDoctor, the formant-preserving automatic pitch corrector, and the radical new SoundBlender effects processor. All three plug-ins are fully compatible with Digidesign's powerful new MixFarm DSP cards.

New with this bundle, SoundBlender brings together the best features of classic hardware effects devices and analog synths to produce an entirely new category of creative signal-processing effects. By combining synth-like filtering and modulation with pitch-shifters, intelligent arpeggiation, and digital delays, SoundBlender can produce literally thousands of unique effects. With hundreds of pre-programmed patches, SoundBlender's effects range from subtle alterations to psychedelic, mind-altering sonic experiences.

The UltraTools bundle is priced at $895. Each of the three plug-ins in SoundBlender are also available individually, and are priced at $495 each. Wave Mechanics is offering a limited time free upgrade to UltraTools for registered owners of its PurePitch/PitchDoctor bundle.
