Mark Clayton New President of Sonorus
Marc Lindahl Steps Down January 25, 2000
January 25, 2000 - Sonorus, Inc. announces the appointment of Mark Clayton
as President. Mr. Clayton is a founder of Sonorus and has over 25 years experience
in management, engineering and professional audio disciplines. Prior to founding
Sonorus, he founded Ariel Corporation (a pioneer in DSP for audio), and worked
for Eventide, Inc. Mr. Clayton stated, "Sonorus has established itself
as a leader and innovator in high-performance audio. We plan to build upon this
foundation with new products and strategic alliances that will bring new capabilities
to anyone working with digital audio."
Simultaneously, Marc Lindahl has announced his resignation from Sonorus Inc.
Marc plans to pursue his dream of starting an internet-oriented record company,
bowery.com. He will also continue to consult with various pro audio companies.
Mr. Clayton stated, "We wish Marc all the best in his future endeavors!
Im sure that he will continue to be a tremendous asset to the pro audio
community."
At the upcoming NAMM show, Sonorus will be demonstrating their STUDI/O running
in various configurations including the Be operating system with Nuendo. Also
shown will be STUDI/Os new AudioX
implementation as well as using STUDI/O for DVD editorial.
