Mackie Extends Soundscape Upgrade Program Through April, 2003 October 24, 2002
Mackie Designs announced an extension to a special upgrade program
designed to help loyal users of the Soundscape SSHDR-1 and E-MU
Ensoniq Paris digital audio workstations, make the switch to the
new generation Soundscape 32. The Soundscape DAW upgrade program,
announced last April and originally scheduled to run through
September, has now been extending until April 30, 2003.
Through this program, Mackie Designs will offer a rebate of $2499 USD
(or international equivalent) to new Soundscape 32 customers that
trade-in one SSHDR-1 or Paris system to an authorized Mackie
distributor or dealer. To be eligible for the rebate, the traded
equipment must be fully functional and include the items listed below.
In addition to the extension of this special offer, Mackie recently
upped the capabilities of the Soundscape 32 platform with the
introduction of Version 3.7 software and Console Manager Version 1.5.
Version 3.7 software incorporates a host of improved user interface
capabilities including real-time cross fades, real-time punch in/out
and real-time record track arming. Console Manager Version 1.5
implements support for Mackie Control/Mackie Control Extender and the
recently announced Baby HUI control surfaces.
Eligible SSHDR-1 must include:
Interface card, interface cable, and serial number of the unit.
Eligible Paris system must include:
Interface 2, 442 or MEC (minus the MEC interface cards), EDS-1000,
interface cable, and serial number of the unit
