Roland Corporation US has kicked off of the Gear Mix Giveaway 2003. Co-sponsored by Remix Magazine
and the Mixwell apparel company, the Gear Mix Giveaway is scheduled to
run until November 30, 2003. Entrants can simply go to
www.rolandus.com and enter for a chance to win a new Roland MV-8000
Production Studio. Runners up will receive Mixwell gift certificates for
online shopping and subscriptions to Remix Magazine.
From making beats to sampling and CD-burning, the MV-8000 Production
Studio does it all. The MV-8000 allows users to sample
their own sounds or import Roland, Akai, ACID and .WAV libraries, then
arrange it all using 16 velocity/aftertouch-sensitive pads and Roland's
most powerful audio/MIDI sequencer. The unit also offers COSM
effects, onboard mastering tools, a built-in CD-RW drive and USB port.
