The Bass Tab Creator is a program designed to help create bass tablature.  It
was originally created to facilitate the reproduction of tab published in
many music magazines and books.  It takes as input a file consisting of note
information, and builds the tab staffs. For example, if the original tab
looked like this:

       String #     q q e e s s e
           4     +----------------+
           3     |--4-5-6---------|
           2     |--------7-5-5-5-|
           1     +----------------+

the user enters the following information into the input file:

    3 4 q
    3 5 q
    3 6 e
    2 7 e
    2 5 s
    2 5 s
    2 5 e

The program reads the input file and recreates the original tablature.  In
the above examples, the letters above the tab represent the note durations
(q=quarter note, e=eighth note, s=sixteenth note). Many string tricks are
also supported (such as slides, bends, etc.), and other things like new time 
signatures, chords, triplets, and repeat markings.
