GetIt! is a MIDI file utility that can handle system exclusive
transfers between a MIDI device and your IBM computer or strict
compatible.  GetIt! can receive MIDI system transfers from
a variety of MIDI devices and save the data to a disk file. 

It can also display MIDI data on the screen in real time,  scripts for 
two-way comunication can be written, and it will even act as a simple
sequencer.
