QuickTab version 1.1.2 (Guitar) DESCRIPTION: With QuickTab, you can drag symbols representing a fret #, or special symbol such as / (slide up) and so on, directly onto a measure of guitar tab. Chords can be easily inserted by name, or dragged from a library of chord diagrams. There is support for lyrics (immediately below the tab), notes (directly above the tab), and blocks of text to go between bars. The chord library is easily modified, and new symbols can be added to the legend. QuickTab comes with a plug-in which allows you to create ASCII files which should be suitable for posting to newsgroups, and can read most .tab files from newsgroups/ftp sites. REQUIREMENTS: QuickTab requires a Macintosh running System 7.0 or higher, with Color QuickDraw ROMs (a colour monitor is *not* required), with minimum 750K free (1280K is more comfortable). The QuickTab home page is at: http://www.ece.concordia.ca/~ikb_macd/qtab.html QuickTab is shareware, a registration fee of $15 Canadian (payable in any currency) is asked from those who find the program useful. Unregistered copies have a limit of 25 bars, 25 text blocks per document. [ Full details included with the QuickTab program. ] Keith MacDonald ikb_macd@ECE.Concordia.caDownload Software
