What's new in version 1.5?

-MIDI control. At last, the days of the awkward mouse-control interface
are over. Knobs, faders and buttons can now be remote controlled via MIDI,
either from external devices such as synths, MIDI fader panels, hardware
sequencers - or from any sequencer program on your computer. A 'learn'
function allows you to do quick and easy MIDI setups for the most commonly
used faders and knobs. To get full MIDI access to everything on the main
screen, you'll have to follow the ReBirth MIDI Specification which will be
found in the new on-line manual.

-New effect unit: The PCF. A brand new effect unit entitled PCF (Pattern
Controlled Filter), which is basically a resonance filter controlled by preset
patterns - allowing drastic variations in the sound character of whichever
module you assign it to. It may not look like much but it's a total facelift
soundwise. Especially when used on the 808...

-Brand new sync. New, improved and innovative synchronization. A LED on
the transport panel indicates each beat of the incoming MIDI Clock. ReBirth
is always in Sync, no matter if you stop/continue, fast-forward, open new
songs etc. And even better: The new sync allows you to switch seamlessly
between different songs without losing sync! With one song playing, just open
another song and press play; ReBirth will keep playing until it reaches the
downbeat of the next bar and instantaneously switch to the second song.
Great for live jamming etc.

-Compatible. The Mac version now recognizes ReBirth Song Files (.RBS) saved
in Windows format. Gone is the hassle of converting songs using apps like
FileBuddy...

-Copy touched controls to loop. A new edit function called "Copy touched
controls to loop" allows you to use the Pattern Mode as a sketch pad for
the perfect mix of a certain song passage, and then copy all those delicate
settings to any point in the song. Very useful.

-Improved handling of multiple song windows.

-Tap recording - Using the Tab key you can program the 808 as well as 303
note-ons in real time!
