Users create instruments by connecting individual
sound components together.  For example, an electric
guitar would be created by connecting the frequency
to a harmonic generator, then to a clipping component
to simulate amplifier distortion, then to a component
which applies a picking envelope, and to the speaker.

Synth Rose includes a sequencer for the customized
insruments, including a traditional musical staff for
composing.  It is capable of exporting to snd, AIFF
and WAV files for further processing by other programs.
