TablEdit 2.60

TablEdit Guitar Tablature Editor is a program for creating, editing, printing and listening
to tablature and sheet music for guitar and other fretted, stringed instruments.

As a tablature editor, it produces and prints tabs and musical notation staves. It also
plays back tabs through a MIDI device (or the internal PC speaker if you don't have a
sound card). This makes it easy to proof your tab or familiarize yourself with a tune.

TablEdit can open and import ASCII, MIDI, ABC, Bucket O' Tab, and Tabestry files. Files
can be saved in TablEdit format or exported to ASCII or MIDI formats.

TablEdit includes a basic chord builder which allows you to edit customized chords diagrams.
It manages solo and duets tablatures.

TablEdit manages up to 16 instruments from 3 to 7 strings.

In standard mode, the main screen is divided in two parts; the upper part shows the stave,
and the lower part shows the tablature. Each one displays the score with its own specific
features and limitations (fingering and special effects in the tab, details on note duration
and dynamics in the stave).

You can enter notes in either the stave or the tab. Any changes in the tab are reflected in
the stave (and vice-versa). If you don't want to see the musical notation stave, it can be
hidden for full screen tablature editing.

The tool bar and the five floating palettes provide easy access to the most common features.
The scaled and mobile ruler allows you to navigate through the score and to place the notes
in the right place.
