TurboSynth 1.0 Demo

This looks like a very powerful program for manipulating samples, 
or making totally new sounds. There are example files showing the
capabilities.  I've also heard the Trent Reznor uses Turbosynth to
create some of his sounds. It can open Sound Designer II or AIFF
sound files to use as sound sources, and offers a variety of effects
and mixing capabilities.

This demo may be greatly outdated however (there's no documentation
and it looks like this demo was released in 1988.) Digidesign still produces
Turbosynth SC, which will work with Digidesign's SampleCell II.
