MIDI EDITOR v. 1.3 - The Universal MIDI Device Manager

MIDI EDITOR is an open system with several great functions, some of them you can't
find in any other software :

 - Librarian : Can handle banks of any kind of MIDI device (synthesizer,
expander, multi-effect, rythm box, MIDI vacuum-cleaner, MIDI toothbrush, etc.) (or
so we believe), and of any kind of data within the MIDI device. Some MIDI devices
are already parametered in it, but new devices can be added without having to pay
anything else or wait for months for a new release to come along. No add-ons, no
extensions : MIDI EDITOR is the software you were looking for for so many years !

 - Editor : Allows you to manipulate the parameters of your sounds and to create new 
ones easily. You create your own edition windows ! At last, you can really control your 
synthesizer !

 - MIDI Receiver : With MIDI EDITOR, you'll be able to receive MIDI messages from your 
MIDI device :it can either send a Request Message (if your device supports it), or simply 
wait for datas to come through the MIDI IN cable.

 - MIDI Transmitter : Can transmit any kind of MIDI Message (System Exclusive) to your 
MIDI device.

 - Importation Functions : Can import MIDIFILES, SysEx Files, and allows you to create 
your own importation formats for importing those weird files of yours no other software 
could read !

 - Exportation functions : Can create MIDIFILES and SysEx Files for use with other 
softwares (sequencers, etc.).

MIDI EDITOR was made to dialog with MIDI devices. Since the sounds on a sound
card can't be modified, you can't use it directly on your sound card : it's made to be
used to control one or several synthesizer(s), or any kind of device which sounds (the
term "sounds" applies here to any parameter in it) can be changed.

New version 1.3 contains several new features (new 'controls' that can be used in 
user-defined windows), as well as fixed bugs and other enhancements...
