MIDISCAN converts printed sheet music into multi-track MIDI files. 
MIDISCAN processes virtually any type of score up to 24 pages at a time. 
Note and rest durations, note pitches, chords, ties, accidentals, bar lines, 
clefs, key and time signatures are all recognized with 90-98% accuracy. 
MIDISCAN is TWAIN compatible and works with all MIDI sequencing and 
notation software. An easy- to-use editing environment makes cleanup 
of the reconstructed file quick and intuitive. Processing time takes from 
30 seconds per page (Pentium) to 3 minutes per page (386).  MIDISCAN 
v2.5 supports the revolutionary new music notation file format, NIFF 
(Notation Interchange File Format).

The MIDISCAN for Windows demo is fully-functional except that it will 
only playback converted MIDI files through its built-in sequencer (will 
not save to disk), will only convert two staves per system (piano scores 
are best) and MIDI conversions are limited to 10. 

Fully compatible with all TWAIN scanners and MIDI software. Full version
of MIDISCAN for  Windows 2.5.1 includes fully licensed version  of Lime
NIFF notation software for free.
