MusEdit is a powerful yet inexpensive music notation editor. Use MusEdit to write standard
treble and bass music notation, tab notation for 4, 5, and 6 string instruments in any tuning 
(including bass), rhythm notation, lyrics in any font, and to draw chord diagrams -either from
a chord dictionary or by creating your own. Translate music notation to tab, or vice versa; 
transpose; play your music as sound; print beautiful looking scores, and more...

A partial listing of features:
-ability to handle treble, bass, tablature (including alternate tunings), chord diagrams, 
rhythm notation, and lyrics in any font.  Any kind of staff line can be inserted anywhere; 
music entry can be done with the mouse or computer keyboard and is very flexible and 
intuitive; up to 10 different instruments can be scored together, yet it is also easy to 
show or hide any subset of lines (eg. a guitarist can hide the treble, or a pianist can hide 
the tab).

-professional looking printouts, in any size from 20% to 300% of normal.  The output looks 
almost identical to the transcriptions you'd find printed in any guitar or other music 
magazine or manuscript

-ability to play the score as MIDI sound or output MIDI files (Please note, however, that 
MusEdit DOES NOT accept MIDI input and can't trascribe from MIDI or from "live" 
performances)

-ability to translate treble to tab and bass to bass tab (and vice versa); keyboard music 
(treble/bass) directly to a single treble or tab staff for guitarists (MusEdit will even 
octave shift bass notes as needed to get them into the guitar's range); text-tab to graphical
tab, and vice versa; text chord names to chord diagrams and more...

-ability to transpose treble, bass, tab and even chord diagrams to any key

-a 9000 chord dictionary (35 different chord types in every key, with an average of about 14 
variations and inversions for each type) plus the ability to design your own chord diagrams
