ScopeFIR 3.5a for Windows 95/NT ScopeFIR(TM) can design complex Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filters using the Parks- McClellan algorithm or windowing. It can mix, scale, quantize, and edit the coefficients of the FIR filter. ScopeFIR is a comprehensive tool for Finite Impulse Response filter design. It can: Design multi-band Complex FIR filters by: 1.The Parks-McClellan Linear Phase FIR filter design algorithm. 2.The windowing method. 3.Filling the taps with a constant. This creates a "comb" filter. View the FIR filters by: 1.Examining the actual band ripple and attenuation values in the Band Editor. 2.Plotting the Frequency Response. 3.Plotting the Impulse Response. 4.Viewing the coefficients in the Coefficient Editor. Alter the FIR filters by: 1.Scaling. 2.Quantizing. Coefficients can be quantized to N bits. 3.Mixing. 4.Editing the coefficients in decimal, binary or hex text formats. Read and write Real or Complex FIR filter coefficients in any of the common data file formats.
