ShowPro MIDI was designed to give the audio mix engineer a powerful
control system for MIDI devices and audio playback.

Showpro 3.1 offers several functions:

* Creates a playlist with cues numbered 1 to 2000. 
* Shows can be named and saved to disk 
* Transmits program changes on 16 MIDI channels, eliminating the need to use individual  
patch maps. Devices are assigned to channels and referred to by name when creating and   
editing cues. 
* Sends MIDI note messages, controllers, sequencer control, MIDI Machine Control, custom 
impementation for Compulite light consoles, and MIDI Show Control messages 
* Plays a *.WAV audio file from the hard disk (if desired) in a cue for announcements, special 
effects, music, station ID's 
* Plays audio tracks from the CD-ROM drive so even custom music tracks recorded on CD-R 
can be accessed quickly and randomly during a performance. 
* Plays *.WAV files from the 0-9 calculator pad keys on the PC keyboard (called "instant   
audio") for instant access to sounds during a performance. 
* Plays MIDI sequences from any drive to any MIDI port, including your internal sound card. 
* Cues also include a wait time, autofollow time to next cue if desired, link to other cue if 
needed, and comments. 
* New Hot Mode gives you point-and-click access to cues with thirty on-screen buttons 
* Hot Mode can be user customized- buttons can change shape, color, text color, add pictures, 
unused buttons can be hidden from view. 
* New Real-Time Control Panel gives manual control over CD audio, Wave audio, and MIDI 
sequencer and status information for each. 
* Cue Sheet View allows review of entire cue set, selection of cue to edit, or transfer of 
playback control to a specific cue. 
* Cues can be edited and created while show in progress. 
* Cue detail view shows current cue and next cue on deck in normal playback mode. 
* Cue detail view shows current cue, two previous, and two cues on deck. 
* Sound card volumes for CD player, MIDI Sequencer and WAV file player can be set and fade 
rates     established for each. 
* Real-Time Control Panel shows faders for CD, Sequencer, and WAV output which can be 
adjusted "on the fly"   like mixer faders. 
* Jump Box allows for quick changes in show playback in normal playback mode 
* Instant Audio Box allows for point and click playback of IA wave files in normal playback 
mode
