the Wavestation family of synthesizers because of new software 
especially created for editing this powerful and still very popular 
synthesizer machines.
WSEDITOR is _the_ software to have when manipulating the many parameters 
that the wavestation utilizes to create it's complex vector synthesis 
and wave sequencing. It's straight forward, and very easy to use, and 
has very little of a "learning curve" to tackle. 
The WSEDITOR a fully functional program of the editing program for 
Korg's Wavestation family synthesizers. The WSEDITOR is gaining a lots 
of respect among professional musicians rediscovering the power of the 
wavestation synthesizers. Because of its user friendly design and easy 
access to all of the Wavestation’s features and editing capability, 
it became excellent tool to create custom sounds and enhance musical 
imagination. 
The WSEDITOR  is designed to run on both Win95 and Win3.1 platforms. 
The editing program can run in three inter-changeable modes for Wavestation 
Keyboard, EX, AD,and SR. 
All functions has been implemented for the specific models (e.g. Analog 
input controls and input waves for WS A/D etc.). On top the standard 
Wavestation editing features (ALL wavestation parameters of performances, 
patches etc.) there are utilities that allow you to process the WS data , 
gave you the details about RAM and ROM patch and wave usage within the 
Wavestation machine's ROM and RAM banks, It also enables user to find 
unused patches and wave sequences and "recycle" them. All the WS setting 
can be stored, saved and loaded. The editing can be done by both, a 
selection from the computer screen or just dumping straight from the 
machine into your computer running the editor. 
In addition to editing, WSEDITOR can also import and export all kind of 
Sys-Ex data.
There are lots of Wavestation sysex files available to be downloaded 
from the Internet sites.
Those files contain various dumps of RAM banks that are stacked together 
into single file formatted with extensions *.syx with no particular order. 
WSEDITOR can open, sort and create appended sysex files, dump selected 
banks and update program’s all settings in the same time for a fast 
audition.
Another powerful features of WSEDITOR are modules programmed to control 
and utilize wide continuous controllers implementation throughout 
Wavestation. Those features include two mouse-joysticks that you can 
assign to two different continuous midi controllers - the C.C. data is 
send  by dragging computer mouse or by PC (flight) Joystick movement in 
horizontal (CC 1) and/or vertical (CC 2) direction on a specially 
calibrated grid. For advanced Wavestation enthusiasts there is also 
module with  16 programmable sliders each, that can be set to transmit 
C. Controllers 0 - 127 on any channels from 1-16.
